Flashing text on the site references both Confessions on a Dance Floor and Confessions 2, while synth-heavy audio plays over imagery that recalls the sleek disco style of the original album era.
The tease follows comments Madonna shared with fans in 2024, when she said she was back in the studio with producer Stuart Price. She later confirmed that a sequel to Confessions on a Dance Floor was in progress and tied it to a 2026 release window.
More clues have appeared across her social media. Madonna recently cleared her Instagram, and her bio now includes the line Time goes by so slowly, the opening lyric from Hung Up, one of the signature hits from the 2005 album.
The original Confessions on a Dance Floor became one of Madonna’s biggest global releases, selling more than 10 million copies worldwide and winning a Grammy for Best Electronic Dance Album. An expanded 20th anniversary edition of the record was also released in November.
